BEFORE, DURING & AFTER

PRE SESSION

center earth guidance induction_edited.j

• Centre: A short walk before the session can be a nice way to prepare, or you may simply sit quietly for a few minutes. This helps you focus your attention fully on the moment you have set aside for yourself.

• Caffeine: Avoid excessive amounts of caffeine, and if you are not used to it, it is best to avoid it entirely.

• Alcohol and drugs: Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs for at least 24 hours before your session.

• Clothes: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to feel relaxed.

ONLINE SESSION

Platform: Get used to Google Meet and prepare your equipment before the session.

• Check devices: Enough battery, stable internet connection, phone on silent, etc.

• Where: Place the device next to yourself, e.g., on a table to the side, in a stable position so there is no risk that the computer will fall over during the session.

• Camera: Place and angle the camera so I can clearly see your face and upper body area.

• Position: Find a comfortable, relaxing position, which may be relaxing on a sofa, sitting comfortably in an armchair, lying in a bed, etc.

• Headphones: Use headphones as this helps us communicate better.

Allow yourself to shift from being the sender to being the receiver. When we are trying to send out information or actively do something, our focus is outward.

In hypnosis, we allow ourselves to simply receive. We take in the experience and let the process unfold naturally.

The more we try to “make” hypnosis happen, the more we can get in our own way. Instead, relax as much as you can, follow the guidance, and you will soon drift into a state of hypnosis that feels calm, safe, and deeply relaxing.

PRACTISE PRE-SESSION

• Practise these exercises before your session. This will help you get the most out of our time together.

Place yourself in a relaxed and comfortable position, then follow the guidance.

• Important: Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. Only listen in a place where you can safely relax and let go.

DURING THE SESSION

Hypnosis: Follow the guidance and you will naturally move into a calm and relaxed state. From there, I will guide you to meaningful moments and emotions. The experience of hypnosis is unique for each person and can differ from one session to another.

• Expectations: People sometimes imagine hypnosis to be like what they have seen in movies, but those portrayals are often exaggerated or misleading. In reality, every session is unique, and there is no single “right” way for it to feel or unfold.

Impressions may arise as images, physical sensations, emotions, sounds, smells, or simply as an inner knowing. Even the smallest first impression can carry an important message.

The process is about allowing these impressions to come and giving them space to be expressed. As you share them in the moment, the bigger picture and the experience begin to unfold.

Rather than trying to control what happens, we trust the inner self to guide us, show us what we need, and process what serves us.

Safety: You are always in charge of your session. You can speak up at any time if something feels uncomfortable or if you wish to pause. Hypnosis is a natural state, and you have awareness throughout the session.

Fantasy or Reality: Everything you have ever experienced is stored within you. Impressions may appear as feelings, images, or sensations, whether they seem real or imagined. It does not matter what form they take.

When you let go of the need to decide whether something is a fantasy or a memory, you open yourself to the full potential of the session and to deeper insights and healing.

Avoid Editing or Analysis: Give an unfiltered account of what you are actually experiencing in the moment. Simply describe what you see, hear, feel, or notice, and allow it to be expressed as it arises.

Let the experience flow without trying to control it.

• Communication: As you begin to share impressions of what you see, hear, feel, or sense, I will guide you to important and meaningful moments. Trust that your subconscious will give you exactly what you need. The more trust you allow, and the more you let go of the critical, analytical mind, the more open you become to valuable experiences.

You are always welcome to speak at any time, even if I have not asked a question. Doing so will not disturb your state – it can actually help you go deeper. I will also ask you questions, and you will be able to respond.

POST SESSION

• Time: Give yourself a little space after the session to absorb and integrate what you have experienced before starting activities that need your full focus.

• Eat and Drink: Drink plenty of water after your session, and have a meal soon afterwards. This helps you ground and return fully to the present.

• Write: Many people find it helpful to write about their session or to express it creatively in another way. This can deepen the integration of the experience.

• Post Practises: If you have been given a practice to continue with, make time to follow it regularly.
