EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE 

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a natural method that helps release stress, dissolve intrusive or limiting thoughts and emotions, and break unhealthy habits.

 

EFT is an energy psychology technique based on the understanding that negative emotions create disturbances in the body’s energy field. On a subconscious level, these disturbances become embedded in your body’s chemistry. This is why it can be so hard to resolve an issue through willpower or logical thinking alone. You might even feel, at times, as if there is an “inner saboteur” working against you, making it difficult to create the change and healing you want.

 

EFT draws from traditional Chinese medicine and its understanding that energy flows through meridian pathways in the body. Blockages in these pathways can contribute to illness or imbalance. By combining this perspective with psychological insights into emotional and mental distress, EFT uses gentle fingertip tapping instead of needles to restore balance and support healing.

 

In an EFT session, we focus on the emotional and/or mental aspect of the issue, the part rooted in the subconscious, while tapping on specific acupuncture (meridian) points.

 

This combination allows you to reduce and release distress and allows your energy to flow freely again.

SESSION

• We begin with a pre-talk to share information about the process, clarify the issue to be worked on, and define the desired outcome.

• While addressing and vocalising the issue, you will tap on meridian points to process it and release the emotions connected to it.

 

• We finish with a post-talk to support the process further if needed and to answer any questions.
